So i decided to not do the usual dressing up and going out for Halloween, instead i'm enjoying a night in with my sister watching Halloween, making a Halloween cake, and we were also going to buy a pumpkin to carve but when we went into town today they didn't have any, we were very upset!
The finished product!
Enjoying a naughty Domino's.. <3
Also got some amazing new slippers, in love with them!!
So today me and my sister got the train to Nottingham for a little day trip, but the main reason being we were having withdrawal symptoms from Wagamama. If you've been reading my blog a while you will know that over the summer we first tried it and instantly became OBSESSED. We went practically every week, but here at uni in Lincoln we don't have one, well we do, but it's still being built, it's going to open really soon and were SO excited but we just couldn't wait that long! We also just wanted a little day trip because we've been back in Lincoln about 6 weeks now and it's fun sometimes to do something different on the weekend! :) I also did a little bit of shopping, pictures below! :)
Best dumplings in the world.
Poundland purchases :)
My toy story box! Not bad for £1. Think i'm going to use it as a memory box.
Fun drinks :) I'm never actually going to open the coke i'm just using it as an ornament in my room it's beautifull!
So, i met up with my sister on my free today and we walked past Paperchase and noticed how cute the mini Christmas trees in the window were - the ones i noticed and loved the most being the turqoise and bright pink one. Thinking nothing else of it we carried on walking and went to get a yummy Greggs for lunch, and then just walked round for a bit until i had to go back to uni. My sister then text me an hour or so later saying that she had a present for me, i actually thought she might have got me ear buds for my earrphones as the bud has fallen off it, very annoying when your about to get on the treadmill in the gym and really want to sweat it out and work hard but your earrphone doesn't fit in your ear properly! I ordered new ones but they didn't even fit which was even more annoying. However i got home later and it was nothing other than the turqoise Christmas tree that we saw in Paperchase!! I was so amazed its gorgeous and she also got me some cute little baubles for it, i have lots of blue things in my room and its very much blue themed so the tree goes perfectly. I couldn't actually wait so i put it up there and then and it's sitting on my desk now, probably a bit too early but i don't even care its so adorbs!
I was so relieved for the weekend when we got home, this week has seemed so stressful. Me and my sister were tempted to be naughty and get a chinese but decided we would make our own version of crispy chilli chicken and egg fried rice which we always get from the chinese. We walked all the way to the big Morrisons by us to get ingredients, we never do this as we get our shopping online and if we need anything we go to the shop round the corner, but we needed quite a lot to make our dinner so we had our lonnnng walk so we felt like we deserved our dinner! Also i got a toffee apple and my sister got a chocolate apple which we're so excited about!
Also.. these ice cubes are so handy! Oblong so they just fit into bottles, amazing! Got them from Poundland :)
I also went to Zumba yesterday at my uni gym with my friend, i thought it was really good, but not as challenging as the one i tried in the Summer at a gym at home. Me and my friend want to try lots of different classes though like Boxercize, Legs Bums and Tums, and Pilates :) I also went to Badminton on Tuesday which was so fun!
Cooked this lastnight and it was yummyy!! Also watched a terrible film called Sharktopus - we knew how bad it would be but it's just so bad it's almost brilliant, and i am also on a mission to watch every film that has sharks in - obsessed!
So i haven't blogged in about two weeks, basically due to laziness, busyness, and illness. It all started to go a bit downhill after i had my first night out at uni last Friday, and from there i just got really ill and have spent the last 5 bed in days and haven't gone to uni one day this week at all. Anyway.. i wanted to post about my dress and a few things i brought today now that i'm feeling slightly human again!
Dress (Primark) - £10.00
Heels (Primark) - £16.00
Do you not just LOVE my carpet? The joys of student houses.
Me and my friend :)
So i haven't really taken many pictures all week after that as i've been ill, BUT, i did HAVE to leave the house on Wednesday as there was 20% off in Topshop, New Look, and some other shops, and i had had my eye on a jumper in Topshop for a while, i never actually go in there to be honest i can't afford it at all but my friend took me in there and i couldn't stop thinking about the jumper afterwards. So me and my sister went to what turned out to be quite an event (security guards, MASSIVE amounts of people waiting for the shops to reopen because the event was from 6pm - 9pm) it was all just a bit crazy. The shop was also really small and i was coughing and sneezing and it was just no fun at all. After luckily finding my jumper we walked out and a woman asked us how much we had spent and said we could choose a free gift, and we got a talking bagpuss mug, its amazing, we really weren't expecting it to be such a big deal, everyone literally RAN to the shops when it turned 6pm, it was actually quite scary...
So i was feeling a lot better today so took some pictures of what i brought
Topshop - Originally £38.00 - 20% off - £30.40
New Look - Originally £25.00 - 20% off - £20.00
New Look - Originally £9.99 - 20% off - £7.99
How cute are these socks?!
Also did a little shopping today..
You know your becoming an adult when this is what you buy when you go out shopping on a Saturday.. especially when you come home and start cleaning and ironing!
Cheeky snickers from the market
I also got this lipstick from the market. I always pass them and look at them and think surely they're not the real deal, as they're sold there and also theyre only £2, so one day i got my sister to study one for ages so she could look at one of mine from home, and when we got home she said they looked exactly the same! So i went again today and just really loved this colour, even if it's not real, it was only £2! :)
Also got a new poster for my bedroom, in love with it!
